- Hiring in IT. Texas is also a hotbed of information technology. The industry is changing at its core and transitioning from a behind the scenes entity to a profit center for modern businesses. Digital innovation, social media, internet security, and mobile applications are changing the very face of IT. Jobs from Chief Information Office down to technical positions will be more prominent in a variety of businesses.
- Housing and construction. Because of the increased job growth in the Dallas area and throughout Texas, housing is becoming a real issue. The people who move to the area need good places to live in affordable areas close to their places of employment. This is leading to a boom in construction and an increase in housing related jobs.
